We have sad news to report on a dear, sweet former adoptee of yours.  Shortly after hurrican Katrina, we adopted an Anatolian Shepherd looking dog from your shelter.  He went by the nickname of  "Big Boy" while in your care.  We renamed him "Shane".  "Shane" passed away in his sleep 2 days ago.  We just wanted you to know we had 5 great years with him.  He was dearly loved and will be sorely missed.  All our other animals miss him, too, and have been keeping vigil on his bed or by the door hoping for his return.  He was a great dog and lovable old lump of love.  RIP Shane.  Enjoy the Rainbow Bridge. ~Caroline in Florida~
